See exactly which of Japan's official government hazard designations apply to a parcel — flood (洪水浸水), landslide (土砂災害), sediment runout (土石流), steep-slope, embankment, tsunami, storm surge and liquefaction. Read straight from Japan's official hazard mapping (MLIT 国土数値情報 / Reinfolib) and reported unaltered — no scores, no ratings.
Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) publishes formal hazard mapping for the whole country. This tool queries the parcel against eight of those official layers and tells you, for each one, whether the point falls inside a designated zone — and, where the government assigns a category, that category exactly as published:
We report the information published by MLIT, but have added English and visuals presentation to help with understanding them. Whether a particular designation is material for your project, and what can be done about it, depends on the specific scheme and site; that is where Ukiyo's advisory work begins.
